About Allison
Allison earned her degree in law from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and brings thirteen years of experience in drafting and negotiating contracts to the field of infertility. Since 2003, Allison has focused on legal issues regarding infertility, drafting and negotiating contracts on behalf of egg donors, surrogates and intended parents. Prior to 2003, Allison worked for various employers specializing as a contract law specialist, including Hewlett Packard, Seagate Technology, and Novell, Inc.
Infertility has been one of the hardest things Allison has had to face in her life. After three difficult years, and three rounds of IVF, Allison was grateful to give birth to boy/girl twins who are now almost two years old. Because of her personal struggle with infertilty, Allison realized that her calling as a lawyer is to help others who are dealing with infertility and the wonderfully generous women who assist people in achieving their dreams of having a family. As a contract specialist for over a decade, she brings her experience in drafting and negotiating contracts to the field of infertility where contracts are necessary and helpful for all parties involved. In addition, unlike someone who has not experienced infertility and the medical solutions that treat infertility, Allsion truly understand the feelings, issues, and challenges that intended parents, egg donors, and surrogates face.
In 2005, in order to continue to provide a superior and personal legal service to a growing number of infertility clients, Allison expanded her practice to include a partner, Suzanne.
About Suzanne
Suzanne earned her law degree from University of Santa Clara Law School, and has partnered with Allison to concentrate on infertility law. Formerly a partner at a major California law firm, Suzanne has over 7 years of experience as an attorney and brings expertise in contract drafting and negotiation to the legal area of infertility.
Suzanne also has endured infertility on a personal level. After giving birth to her daughter, Suzanne experienced medical complications and consequently underwent embolization of her uterine arteries. As a result, despite several IUI attempts, Suzanne has experienced secondary infertility.
